The Fibaro Bypass 2 device is an additional add-on for the Fibaro Dimmer 2, designed for use with LED bulbs or energy-saving, compact, fluorescent lamps. The Bypass device prevents flickering LEDs and glowing compact fluorescent lamps while they are turned off. Please Note: This device is not designed as a standalone product. It is for use with the Fibaro Dimmer 2 only.

    In the case of 2-wire connections, FIBARO Bypass 2 allows a reduction to the minimum power of load required by the Dimmer to operate correctly. FGB-002 is designed for aiding the control of low loads of minimum power down to 5VA (for cosφ>0.5).

    In a 2-wire connection, do not connect this to a load below minimum power without FGB-002.

    Bypass 2 works exclusively in trailing edge mode. Do not connect the Bypass 2 to a Dimmer operating in leading edge mode.

    Bypass 2 is sensitive to frequent changes of state in Dimmers. Significant changes in brightness should not be performed more than once per second.
