Homey Bridge

Overview:

Homey Bridge extends Homey with Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth LE, 433 MHz and infrared connectivity, while Wi-Fi connects the Bridge to the internet. It can be used with Homey Cloud or as an add-on for Homey Pro and Homey Pro mini.

Internet requirement:

An active internet connection and a Homey account are required. Flows that depend on Homey Bridge stop working while the internet connection is unavailable.

Homey Cloud:

The free Homey Cloud tier supports up to five connected devices. Homey Premium is required to connect more than five devices. One Homey Bridge can be connected to Homey Cloud.

Homey Pro / Pro mini:

Homey Bridge can be used in Satellite Mode to extend supported wireless coverage. With Homey Pro, Zigbee and Z-Wave can extend their mesh networks while 433 MHz, infrared and Bluetooth cover nearby devices.

Placement:

A central, open position is recommended. Infrared is emitted from the top of the Bridge and cannot pass through walls.
