Homey Bridge is the latest addition to the Homey smart hub lineup, offering support for Zigbee, Z-Wave Plus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 433 MHz RF, and Infrared. Unlike Homey Pro, Homey Bridge runs its logic in the cloud, offering a more affordable entry point into the Homey ecosystem. It features a glossy black design with aluminium accents and includes Homey Premium (free for 3 months), which is required for connecting more than five devices. Features: cloud-based operation, support for tens of thousands of devices, shared Homey app for automation and control, and a 2.99 EUR/month subscription for advanced use.

Homey Bridge adds Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, 433 MHz and infrared connectivity to the cloud-based Homey service, using your home Wi-Fi for its internet connection. It suits smaller multi-brand smart homes and can also extend the wireless reach of a Homey Pro in Satellite Mode.
Homey Bridge requires an active internet connection. Homey’s free tier supports up to five connected devices; more than five requires Homey Premium. Device support still depends on the relevant Homey app, so check compatibility before buying. The box includes the Bridge, a 5 V power adaptor, USB cable and getting-started guide.
