The POPP Z-Weather is a solar-powered Z-Wave Plus weather sensor designed to bring outdoor conditions into your smart-home automations. Its cup anemometer measures wind speed while the sensor also reports temperature, relative humidity, brightness, air pressure and dew point.
That combination is particularly useful for weather-responsive automation: strong wind can be used to protect awnings or blinds, twilight can trigger outdoor lighting, and the wider environmental data can support more informed home and garden routines. The integrated solar cell powers the device and charges its internal energy storage, so there are no replaceable batteries for normal operation.
