Shelly Flood Gen4 is a battery-powered water sensor with a flexible sensing cable for covering a longer or awkward leak path. The supplied cable detects water along its length and can be extended with compatible sections. It supports Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Matter, allowing it to join a suitable Shelly or third-party setup.
The sensor can provide a local buzzer and connected notifications when water is detected. It reports a leak but cannot stop the water without separate compatible automation hardware and a suitable shut-off arrangement. Place the sensing cable where water is likely to travel, keep the main unit within its stated environmental limits and allow access for replacing the four AA batteries.
