Aeotec Door Window Sensor 8 is a compact Z-Wave 800 Series sensor for doors, windows and other moving points around the home.
It reports open and closed status with a magnetic contact and uses a three-axis sensor for tilt and movement applications.
It also measures temperature and humidity, calculates dew point and can help a compatible smart home system warn about conditions associated with mould risk.
The sensor can run from a CR14250 battery or 5V USB-C power. It is suitable for a range of doors, tilt windows, sliding windows, cabinets and similar use cases when positioned correctly.
A compatible Z-Wave hub or controller is required.
