TP-Link's EAP653 is engineered to offer high-speed dual-band WiFi 6 (802.11ax) connectivity across a huge range of use-cases, and can be equally suited to home offices and startups as to SMBs, retail spaces, warehouses and more. It can offer 3 Gbps WiFi 6 to over 250 simultaneously connected devices across a range of more than 140m² (1500 ft²), although the EAP653 can be easily adopted into a WiFi mesh network to increase range and eliminate network dead-spots. To optimise security, connection strength and ease of use the EAP653 incorporates a variety of wireless functions and quality of life improvements, such as Quality of Service metrics, Band Steering, Airtime Fairness and Beamforming technology to improve signal range. Also supported is captive portal authentication - great for guest and customer networks - and MAC address filtering. The EAP653 can be mounted either on the ceiling or on a wall with the included mounting kits, and can be powered either by PoE+ or a DC adapter (sold separately).
