The UVC G6 Turret incorporates a rich and varied suite of improvements over the previous generation of Ubiquiti's IP turret cameras, the G5 Turret Ultra; unlike the G5 line, the G6 Turret can record footage in 4K resolution instead of 2K, and supports up to 30 m (98 ft) of infrared night-vision to ensure a clear picture in any lighting. The G6 Turret can also utilise AI to automatically detect faces and license plates, and its AI detection capabilities feature improved accuracy and range. Unlike the G5 equivalent, this G6 Turret can also be mounted both inside and outside; it features a robust IP66 weather-proof chassis to withstand both dust and high-pressure water jets, as well as an IK08 vandalism-resistance. For ease of mounting and to ensure the widest area is covered, the G6 Turret supports 3-axis manual adjustment for flexible installation.
