The NETGEAR GS316P is an unmanaged 16-port Gigabit switch with PoE+ on all 16 ports and a 115W shared PoE budget. NETGEAR FlexPoE allows the budget to be increased to 183W with a separately purchased compatible power module. The fanless metal unit needs no software configuration.

It suits a larger collection of standards-based PoE cameras, access points or phones where VLAN management is not required. Power planning still matters: each port can support PoE+, but the combined load must remain within the installed supply’s budget. Select a managed model if per-port PoE schedules, VLANs or detailed network controls are needed.
