The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Fortress Gateway (EFG) is a 1U 25G cloud gateway for high-capacity UniFi networks. Its 18-core ARM processor and 16 GB of DDR4 memory support more than 500 UniFi devices, more than 5,000 clients and up to one million concurrent sessions.
Connectivity includes two 25G SFP28 ports, two 10G SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports that can be assigned to LAN or WAN, with firewall routing throughput up to 23.5 Gbps.
Resilience features include redundant WAN connections with failover and load balancing, LTE backup support, two hot-swappable power supply units and Shadow Mode high availability when paired with a second EFG. Security features include application-aware firewall rules, an OpenVPN client, IDS/IPS threat detection and a stateful firewall.
