The Wave AP Micro operates in the interference-free 60 GHz spectrum, supporting a total throughput of up to 5 Gbps (2.5 Gbps duplex).

To ensure maximum uptime even in challenging weather conditions, it features a built-in 5 GHz 800+ Mbps backup radio.

• This dual-band approach guarantees a reliable connection, automatically switching to the weather-resilient 5 GHz band should the primary 60 GHz link be affected by heavy rain or atmospheric absorption.
• Equipped with a 90-degree sector antenna, the Wave AP Micro provides extensive coverage, allowing for the connection of up to 15 stations (expandable to 31 with later firmware versions).

The device is housed in a durable UV-stabilised polycarbonate and aluminium alloy enclosure with an IPX6 weatherproofing rating, ensuring long-term reliability in outdoor environments.

For simplified installation and management, the Wave AP Micro includes integrated GPS for location tracking and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling quick setup via the UISP mobile app.
