aërQ Temperature & Humidity Sensor is small. Really small. At 35mm (1.38″) wide, it’s only a little wider than a coin cell battery. It’s been crafted that size so that it can be installed almost anywhere you need to measure temperature and humidity, and analyse some attributes of air quality. Precision engineered, its accuracy is a welcome addition to your automation system's other sensors, while its size allows for multiple sensors to be unobtrusively installed in large rooms.

The Aeotec aërQ is a compact, battery-powered Z-Wave sensor for temperature, relative humidity and dew point. Compatible controllers can also use its readings to indicate mould risk and to trigger ventilation, heating, cooling or dehumidification routines.

It requires a Z-Wave hub and does not control other equipment by itself. Mould potential is a calculated warning, not proof that mould is present and not a substitute for inspecting the building. Reporting intervals, available entities and alert behaviour depend on the controller and its device support. Install it indoors where air can circulate freely, away from direct sun, radiators and steam, for more representative readings.
