This two-pack contains two Shelly LoRa Add-ons, providing the pair required to establish a Shelly LoRa link between compatible Gen3 or Gen4 host devices. The add-ons extend communication into remote, obstructed or hard-to-reach locations where conventional local networking may not provide suitable coverage.
Shelly specifies LoRa range of up to 5 km with an external antenna, depending on local conditions, together with AES-CCM encryption. Each add-on is powered through the proprietary Shelly serial interface of its compatible host device, and custom scripting can be used to define the data exchanged across the link.
