Shelly's Wave Dimmer works as a trailing-edge dimmer, and can be installed both with and without a neutral wire. The Wave Dimmer can handle up to 200W load, and allows for easy and smooth dimming of a wide range of dimmable lights and LEDs either from a single button-press or an automated schedule. Unlike Shelly's retrofit series, the Wave Dimmer requires a Z-Wave hub to operate (sold separately), and can be adopted into a Z-Wave network along with other compatible devices from different brands. For easy setup, the Wave Dimmer supports automatic set-up with SmartStart, and is compatible with Z-Wave Long Range for strong, stable wireless connectivity over distances exceeding 1km. Shelly's Wave Dimmer is compatible with all certified Z-Wave devices and gateways, communicating over sub-GHz frequencies for reliable wireless connection without interference.
