The Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 Pro is a Z-Wave Plus V2 contact sensor that can report open, closed and supported tilt states. It also provides tamper detection and a binary sensor input for a suitable external dry-contact device.

A compatible Z-Wave hub is required. Tilt reporting, configuration options and the external input depend on controller support, so check the device handler before purchase. The sensor and magnet must be aligned within the limits in the manual; test every required door or window position after mounting. It can trigger alerts and automations through the hub, but it is not a lock or a complete intruder-alarm system.
