The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro is a battery-powered Z-Wave Plus V2 device with a 1.5-metre probe for detecting leaks or high and low water levels. The Pro model also reports temperature and humidity and includes tamper detection, allowing a compatible hub to use the data for alerts and environmental routines.

A Z-Wave controller is required, as are separate valves, pumps or sirens for any automatic response. The electronics are not intended to be submerged; follow the manual when placing the probe and sensor body. Feature exposure depends on controller support. Test wet, dry and notification states after installation, and treat automation as an additional safeguard rather than a replacement for maintenance.
