The Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 is a retrofit motor for automating compatible beaded-chain roller blinds. It attaches beside the existing blind chain, allowing the shade to be raised, lowered or stopped from the Aqara app, a compatible controller, voice assistant or automation.
The built-in battery avoids permanent wiring, while USB-C charging also supports powered operation where suitable. Preset opening levels, schedules and Zigbee automations make it useful for privacy, daylight control, temperature comfort and everyday convenience.
