The Shelly Plus 2PM Gen3 grants a wide range of smart home capabilities and automations, granting intuitive remote control and management over two different electrical circuits like lighting or curtains, or a bi-directional motor as in motorised blinds. Following an easy five-minute installation, regular appliances and systems featuring the Shelly Plus 2PM Gen3 can be controlled seamlessly through the free Shelly app through standard home WiFi, with no specialised hub or external wiring required. The Shelly Plus 2PM Gen3 also features advanced power metering, accurate to within 1%, that uploads and stores data on power usage in the cloud for later analysis. This Gen3 model represents an advancement on the previous generation, the Plus 2PM, featuring a new advanced chip developed by Shelly in-house with an increased memory of 8MB for optimised responsiveness, and compatibility with Matter for easy integration with pre-existing smart home systems. The Gen3 also supports KNXnet / IP communication, further broadening the range of pre-existing smart home integrations.
