With a firmware update to airOS 7.1 or higher, the device also supports Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) functionality, offering flexibility for various network architectures.

The Rocket 5ac Lite utilizes a custom IC airMAX engine to dramatically improve TDMA latency and network scalability.

By supporting 256QAM modulation, this access point provides up to 450+ Mbps of real TCP/IP throughput, which is up to triple the performance of standard airMAX products.

It features a simple plug-and-play design that allows for tool-less installation on any airMAX ac antenna with a built-in Rocket mount.

Gigabit Ethernet: Equipped with a 10/100/1000 Mbps port to deliver maximum throughput over wired connections.
For power, the device utilizes 24V Passive PoE, allowing both data and power to be carried over a single Ethernet cable for a cleaner installation.

Advanced RF Analytics: Features a multi-radio architecture that powers a dedicated RF analytics engine for real-time reporting and spectral analysis.

Enhanced Security: Supports strong WPA2 AES encryption to keep your wireless links secure.

Whether you are establishing a long-range bridge or managing a local wireless distribution network, the Ubiquiti Rocket 5ac Lite provides the processing power and reliability needed to maintain peak performance across your wireless infrastructure.
This ensures stable and high-speed data transfer even in demanding outdoor environments.

Housed in an outdoor UV-stabilised plastic enclosure, the R5AC-Lite is built to withstand harsh weather conditions.
