Aeotec Water Sensor 8 is a Z-Wave 800 Series water and environmental sensor for leak detection and room-condition monitoring.
It detects water events, measures temperature and humidity, calculates dew point and can help a compatible smart home system warn about conditions associated with mould risk. It is useful near sinks, baths, boilers, washing machines, dishwashers and other areas where early leak awareness matters.
The sensor can run from a CR14250 battery or 5V USB-C power. A 2.5mm connector allows compatible external probes or dry-contact sensors to be connected where a different sensing position is needed.
A compatible Z-Wave hub or controller is required. Alerts support monitoring, but they do not guarantee that water damage or mould will be prevented. CareFree Smart Homes supplies this product only.
